Title chasing Southamptons Arms took a two nil lead the second a stunning strike by Mark Boucher form the edge of the box but Barton pulled a goal back shortly before the break through Marcio Oliviera, drawing level soon after through Nick Oliver. Southampton Arms upped their game and scored a quick three goals including a second long range strike for Boucher who was fortunate not to be punished a few minutes later for a stamp on a prone Nick Oliver. Barton Stacey pulled the deficit back to one as Oliver completed a hat trick and with five minutes remaining a William de Cani cross found Rob Crook in the box who fired home Barton's equaliser. Dan De Heaume pulled off a stunning finger tip save in the Barton goal and The Arms had a late goal ruled offside before time was called on an entertaining and wel refereeed tie.
